READING, Pa. — After weeks of substitute teachers, it's back to the polygon and the hypotenuse for a Reading High School geometry class.

The 11th grade class has had substitutes for six weeks since the original teacher resigned and went on medical leave.

Students say they were worried about being prepared for Pennsylvania System of School Assessment tests coming up in February.

Superintendent Thomas Chapman says a certified math teacher resumed leading the class Tuesday.

He says school officials are still looking for a permanent replacement.
