PITTSBURGH — President Barack Obama will be in Pittsburgh Tuesday to speak at the 116th Veterans of Foreign Wars national convention at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center.
The convention is not open to the public, but it will be streamed online at www.vfw.org starting at 8 a.m. Monday.
Up to 12,000 members of the VFW are expected to attend the convention, according to a news release. The convention begins Saturday.
“We are very grateful to President Obama for choosing to address America’s oldest and largest major war veterans’ organization,” VFW National Commander John W. Stroud said in a release.
