Grace S. Staff, 87, formerly of Staff Road in Brady Township, died at 12:50 a.m. Saturday at Passavant Health & Retirement Center, Zelienople, after a short illness.

Born March 22, 1918, in Sarver, she was the daughter of Conrad and Elizabeth Satiah Menken Zier.

She was a member of St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Surviving are four sons, George W. Staff of Wellsboro, Benjamin C. Staff of Florida, Robert S. Staff of Norfolk, Va., and David M. Staff of Butler; 13 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. A brother, Clarence Zier of Florida, also survives.

Her husband, Arthur B. Staff, whom she married April 19, 1940, died Oct. 11, 1997. A son, an infant grandson and two brothers also preceded her in death.

STAFF — Friends of Grace Satiah Staff, who died Saturday, Jan. 7, 2006, will be received from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, 127 W. Jefferson St. Funeral services will follow at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Robert Strobel, interim pastor of her church, officiating.
