Okaie J. Shrecengost, 91, of Chicora died at 8:24 p.m. Wednesday at the Chicora Medical Center.

Born Jan. 11, 1915, in Plumbville, Indiana County, she was the daughter of Ulysis G. and Pearl I. Reefer Shrecengost.

She was a Lutheran.

Surviving her are a son, Dennis W. Shrecengost of Rural Valley; a daughter, Judy L. Shrecengost of Kittanning; a grandson; a sister-in-law, Robirda A. Shrecengost of Chicora, with whom she lived, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother and five sisters. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

<B>Shrecengost</B> — Friends of Okaie J. Shrecengost, who died Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2007, will be received from noon to 2 p.m. Friday at the <B>Steighner Funeral Home</B>, 111 E. Slippery Rock St., Chicora.Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. James A.
