HARRISON TWP, Allegheny County — The Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s office said a Saxonburg woman died in a crash Monday.

At about 5:40 p.m., Mary Rhodes, 50, was exiting Route 28 toward Route 908 when her Hyundai Elantra and a GMC truck collided, according to the medical examiner’s office. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Rhodes died of blunt force trauma, according to an autopsy done Tuesday.

Allegheny County police are in charge of the investigation and did not return calls for additional information.
