Alfred R. Regrut, 75, of Portersville, formerly of Pittsburgh, died Sunday at Manor Care of North Hills.

Born Feb. 15, 1931, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Michael and Margaret Herron Regrut.

He had been a truck driver

Surviving are his wife, Virginia A. Ruckdeschel Regrut, to whom he was married for 56 years; seven children, Doug Regrut of Saxonburg, Glenda Czajkowski of Glenshaw, David Regrut of Baden, Thomas Regrut of Harmony, Timothy Regrut of Portersville, Gina Fazzini of Findleyville and Alan Regrut of Jacksonville, Fla.; and 11 grandchildren.

Two brothers and a sister, James Regrut of Slippery Rock, Emmett Regrut of Pittsburgh and Jean Volpe of Meadville, also survive.
