Frederick Jevsevar Sr.
Frederick Jevsevar Sr., 87, of Chicago and of Butler died at 7:10 p.m. Saturday at his home in Chicago.
Born Aug. 10, 1919, in Henderson, Pa., he was the son of Vincent and Genevieve Shovin Jevsevar.
A World War II Navy veteran, he had worked at Pullman Standard and had been a guard at the Sunnyview Home. He also had been a farmer.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Wesley (Mary Ann) Garmulowtz of Beauford, S.C., and Mrs. Dave (Jenny) Bridges of Las Vegas; two sons, Jan Urban of Butler and Frederick Jevsevar of Chicago; three grandchildren, and a great-granddaughter.
A sister, Margaret Kubican of Pittsburgh, also survives.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Lukas Jevsevar, who died May 23, 1991; a brother, and a sister.
