SLIPPERY ROCK — District Judge David Kovach recently heard these cases:

Walter McElroy Jr., 53, of Pittsburgh waived to court charges of felony materially false written statement and misdemeanor statement under penalty, filed July 1 by state police.

Matthew Hutchinson, 24, of McKeesport waived to court charges of felony conspiracy, felony retail theft and misdemeanor receiving stolen property, filed Feb. 4 by Cranberry Township police.
