Lucas P. Faux
Lucas P. Faux, 87, of Butler died at 4:30 p.m. Sunday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born July 6, 1919, in Butler, he was the son of Harry K. and Leah Hannah Lucas Faux.
He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, the Masonic Lodge, the Scottish Rite Valley of Pittsburgh and the Syria Temple.
Mr. Faux owned and operated the Butler News.
He was an Army veteran, served in World War II and was decorated with a Bronze Star.
Surviving are a daughter, Dianna Rannells of Versailles, Ky.; a son and his wife, Timothy and Marge Faux of Tulsa, Okla.; seven grandchildren, Mrs. Eric (Phoebe) Belsley of Newton, Mass., Neil and Sarah Faux of Frisco, Texas, Dwight and Gina Faux of Huntington, Ark., Stephanie Faux of Houston, Texas, and Lana, Wade and Sam Faux, all of Tulsa; and six great-grandchildren. A sister, Charlotte Decker of Harrisburg, also survives.
He was preceded in death by a daughter and a son, Marilee and David Faux; two brothers, and four sisters.
<B>FAUX </B>— A memorial service for Lucas P. Faux, who died Sunday, Feb. 18, 2007, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Trinity Lutheran Church, 120 Sunset Drive, Center Township, with the Rev. Thomas Pierotti officiating.
