Jean M. Hogue
Jean M. Hogue, 63, of Hufnagel Road, Muddy Creek Township, died Thursday at Jameson Memorial Hospital when she lost her two-year battle with cancer.
Born June 7, 1943, in Muddy Creek Township, she was the daughter of the late Fred Hufnagel and of Helen Richards Hufnagel of Harmony.
She was an active member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Wurtemburg Presbyterian Church Quilters. She enjoyed gardening, painting and sewing and quilting.
Survivors include her mother, to whom Ms. Hogue was a devoted caregiver, and two sons and daughters-in-law, Brian and Vivian Hogue of Portersville, and Chadwick B. and Deanna Hogue of Enon Valley; another son and his fiancé, Russell Hogue and Cindy Smith of New Castle; and a daughter and son-in-law, Theresa L. and Scott E. Pearce of Portersville. She is also survived by two sisters, Helen "Sis" Parks of Harmony and Margie Hinds of Wisconsin; and three brothers, James Hufnagel of Fombell, Richard "Bud" Hufnagel of Harrisville and Robert Hufnagel of Colorado; and five grandchildren, Cassey, Candace, Chadwick B. Jr., and Aidan Hogue, and Justin Pearce.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, William, Charles and Howard Hufnagel; and a grandson, Jagger Hogue.
<B>HOGUE</B>— Visiting hours for Jean M. Hogue, who died Thursday, Feb. 22, 2007, will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the <B>Marshall Funeral Home</B>, 200 Fountain Ave., Ellwood City.Additional visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of the 11 a.m. service Monday at the funeral home. The Rev. Wayne Wheeler and the Rev. John Barkley will be officiating.Burial will follow in the Mountville Cemetery in Portersville.Memorial contributions may be made to the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, 2601 Route 488, Fombell, PA 16123.
