Elizabeth "Libby" Copus, 85, of Neshannock died at 3:10 a.m. Sunday at Edison Manor, New Castle.

Born May 21, 1921, in Timblin, Jefferson County, she was the daughter of Joseph and Mary Anna Sabados Copus.

She had been a secretary at Vogley Insurance in Butler.

Miss Copus was a Protestant and was a generous, giving person.

Surviving are a sister, Anna Smeltzer of Edinburg; a brother, John Copus of Erie, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by four brothers, Joseph, Steve, George and Michael Copus, and a sister, Mary Myers.

<B>COPUS</B> — Friends of Elizabeth "Libby" Copus, who died Sunday, Feb. 25, 2007, will be received from 2 to 3 p.m. today at the <B>Alcorn Funeral Home</B>, Hawthorn. Services followed at 3 p.m. today at the funeral home with the Rev. Ben Shindledecker officiating. Burial was at the Timblin Cemetery, Jefferson County.
