CLINTON TWP — A Jefferson Township woman died after falling out of a moving vehicle along Route 228 East Sunday evening.

State police report Alexi Arthur, 53, was flown by medical helicopter to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh following the accident.

According to Butler County 911 records, the driver of a pickup called at 5:29 p.m. to report a woman fell out of his pickup.

The driver told the dispatcher he picked up the woman, who was unconscious but breathing.

Police report Arthur was listed in critical condition as of 11:30 p.m. Sunday. A time and date of death was not listed.

No foul play is suspected. Police continue to investigate the incident.

The Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office has not yet responded to a request for information on cause of death.
