Auxter

Nancy E. Auxter, 76, of Slippery Rock died at 2:04 a.m. Sunday at the Grove City Medical Center, Pine Township, Mercer County.

Born in Brunswick, Maine, April 29, 1930, she was the daughter of Elwood Tenney Mayberry and Madeline Inez Storey Mayberry.

She was a 1951 graduate of the Eastern Maine General Nursing School in Bangor, Maine, and had been a registered nurse.

Surviving are two sons, Matthew K. Auxter of Slippery Rock and the Rev. Mark S. Auxter of Plymouth Meeting, Montgomery County; four daughters, Anne Kamerer and her husband, Tom, of Butler, Lynne E. Cunningham and her husband, James, of Fredericksburg, Va., Sue M. Parham and her husband, Walter, of Edgewater, Md., and Jayne D. Robinson of Baltimore, Md.; 11 grandchildren, and a great-granddaughter.

<B>AUXTER</B> — Friends of Nancy E. Auxter, who died Sunday, April 8, 2007, will be received from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>Smith Funeral Home</B>, 421 New Castle St., Slippery Rock. Services will follow at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with her sons, the Rev. Mark Auxter officiating. Burial will be at the Varney Cemetery Association, Brunswick, Maine.
