Doney

Dorothy L. Doney, 78, of Bakerstown died Friday morning at her home after a long illness.

Born April 12, 1928, in Appalachia, Indiana County, she was the daughter of Albert E. and Dess V. Giles Cluroe.

She was a 1947 graduate of Pine Township High School in Alverda, Indiana County, and had worked at the Bakerstown Post Office for years.

Mrs. Doney was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Allison Park, where she served the Master's cause for more than 40 years.

Surviving are her husband, J. Frank Doney, Jr., whom she married Aug. 14, 1954, at the Mount Union Evangelical United Brethren Church in Alverda; her children, Anita Muirhead of Bentonville, Ark., Kathleen Weaver of Muncie, Ind., and Frank E. Doney of Bakerstown; and her siblings, Helen Mae Shrum of Latrobe and Albert E. Cluroe of Port St. Luci, Fla., and five grandchildren.

<B>DONEY </B>— Friends of Dorothy L. Doney, who died Friday, April 6, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the <B>Schellhaas Funeral Home</B>, 5864 Heckert Road, Bakerstown. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Barry Murray, officiating. Friends should meet at the church.
