I am a teacher and have been reading and occasionally responding on this site for a few years. I usually just read it for the entertainment or to learn what is going on in Butler. I will say that I do teach my students HOW to disagree because I believe that most people don't know how to do that respectfully. It is okay to disagree but it is not okay (in my opinion and certainly not my grandmother's) to be rude when you do so. As for other websites, I choose not to go to the ones where they are vulgar and crude to one another. I wonder about those that choose to "rip" on those that make mistakes in their spelling and grammar. First off, who cares?? Second off, who cares?? (I know that I said this twice!) Basically, it would be an ideal world if we could all agree to disagree once in awhile (and spell correctly and use great grammar). In my years of dealing with the public, both in education and for 15 years in the restaurant business, I have learned that there are people out there who just will not and can not change. It is who they are and they enjoy making others feel badly. As life goes on, you learn who you can develop healthy relationships with and who you can't. I think the same goes for here. Remember names and posts and don't waste your time responding to those that are going to be rude and disrespectful. They do not deserve the enjoyment they get out of getting people riled.
