Ellen slow down here a minute. I'm with you on making sure our politicians act more responsible when spending tax dollars. The thing is, so is Mr. Ellis. Why the guy was rude to your husband is another issue. Mr. Ellis reads this section and I'm sure is not happy that anyone in his office was rude to anyone. Ellen how else is an elected official supposed to know what the people he represents wants without some how getting in touch with them. I thought this was a great, great idea and showed that he cares about our opinions!! I was hoping he would have more of these!!!! Do you know what he is fighting for in the house? The answer is probably "no" because people will get up set if he is spending tax money. I know he is trying to reform property tax and help our community get back to what it once was. Like I said, I hope he has a couple more community nights and sends out more mailers. We are all busy and this is the only way I know what is going on. I don't want to be left in the dark like some of our elected officials have left us in the past. I'm glad you have taken an interest but don't jump on rash decisions. Seriously think about it. Do you know what any of the other politicians are doing or working on??
