Melissa

Hello..well I'm gonna try and attempt to give a go at your question. It's just a thought, but if the kids are, say maybe kindergarten age..or maybe even alittle older, I was thinking about taking things away from them when they act up. I think at this stage, they could still be taught respect. I do believe it would be harder, but with a parent being consistant, and never going against what you tell them in the first place..they will get better. Also, if there are two parents in the household, it is great for support. You help each other, accomplish this goal, by showing respect for each other. I really believe that kids learn what they see..so I believe that if the parents show respect, then the child will start showing it. I also have three girls, and I as well started from a very young age to always say "please" and "thank you". This actually does work. I do agree that raising kids today, is difficult, but if it is at all possible..stick together as a family, then the rest will fall into place. If there is parents that are absent, then get help..it's out there. That was a good question:)
