Point Park to spend $210M on campus
PITTSBURGH — Point Park University will invest $210 million in the coming years to create a so-called Academic Village in downtown Pittsburgh, including a new playhouse and student center.
The six-year strategic plan was unveiled at a news conference on Tuesday.
The university said it has almost completed the purchase of all the properties it needs to upgrade the city campus.
Point Park is a private Pittsburgh university with about 3,600 students.
