CALIFORNIA — The Washington County Coroner said acute alcohol intoxication killed a California (Pa.) University student found dead in an off-campus apartment.

Coroner Tim Warco said 19-year-old sophomore William Kiel Bobbitt was drunk when he arrived at the friend's apartment about 1 a.m. May 1 looking for a place to stay.

Those who lived in the apartment discovered Bobbitt dead when they woke up about 7:40 a.m. the same day.
