Rebecca Allison, in her letter to the editor, disagrees with my concerns regarding Congressman Phil English's vote to cut funding for Planned Parenthood. Her opposition exactly illustrates my point, i.e. people trying to impose their religious beliefs on others via government regulation. Ms. Allison, who describes herself as having "strong personal religious beliefs", should keep her beliefs just that--personal. If the government is going to be supplying funds to family planning agencies they can not discriminate against one organization because of religious issues.
