Man charged with homicide in wife's death near Pittsburgh
WILKINSBURG, Pa. (AP) — A western Pennsylvania man has been charged with criminal homicide in the death of his wife at their home in the Pittsburgh suburbs.
Sixty-year-old Richard Katilius was charged in Allegheny County after 63-year-old Linda Katilius was found dead at the Wilkinsburg home shortly after 4 a.m. Wednesday.
Police haven’t said how she died, but say they located her husband several miles away in Butler County. They went to the home after a relative asked them to check on the woman’s welfare. An autopsy was scheduled.
Neighbor Andrea Shields said she had known the couple for years. She said “They were just a great couple; everyone loved them.”
Court documents don’t list an attorney who could respond to the charges; a message left at the home wasn’t immediately returned.
