Teachers/Child
I have read a few letters pertaining to problem children and what teachers assume and so on. First of all, if the child is a problem in school, I have to ask, How is the teacher handling that? If the child is academically deficient, what academic help is the school giving that child? There was a child in my own family, that was ridiculed everyday in school, sent to office, sustained alot of humiliation because of poor learning skills, to make a long horrible story short, today that child has programs to help him, a REAL teacher and the same parents, and he is functioning much better. This particular area, loves to blame when all of us are not suck up puppets. Teachers should NOT get a raise. Thet have summers off, personal days, monday thru friday daylight hours. And when a student fails, of course its the parents fault. Then they cause trouble for the student, the family, and the teacher comes out smelling like a rose. WRONG. The Pa. State Law needs to be checked by all parents. Anyone that is having difficulty with a child in school, should call Pa. Dept. of Education and learn the rules regulations and proceed accordingly. I have met so many adults that cannot read, that have GRADUATED from Butler Area School District. Now the schools have to answer to the No Child Left Behind Law, and now parents are abusive drunken drug addicts. WOW. Not all people are bad. And we certainly do not beat our children with stupid sticks. Teachers pointing a finger at home is a mind game. If parents would learn their rights, in a situation of a challenged child, shools will no longer get away with what they TRY to get away with. From what I have seen, if children are in a bad home life, neighbors Will report it, teachers do not need to play "The Hero". I would like to see real teachers doing their JOB. Teachers ask "What did u do with your weekend" What do u have for dinner? TEACH OUR CHILDREN, THE RIGHT WAY. We don't need attention diversion because you fight the "No Child Left Behind Law". DO YOUR JOB!!!!!!!!!!! I am sick to death of the blame game because SOME teachers can't do the job. Help that child, don't make his academic failures worse. Be real teachers. They know who they are and no it is not all teachers, but 1 or 2 is too many in our schools. The war between home and school is a sin, and I believe there are teachers that forgot their priority. And the sad part is, if parents do not educate theirself, their child will lose!!!!
