ERIE — A 41-year-old man was killed when the snowmobile he was driving collided with a sport-utility vehicle on Old Route 99 in McKean Township on Saturday.

State police say Timothy Oakes of Saegertown was thrown from his snowmobile in the crash about 9:15 p.m.

State police say Oakes' snowmobile hit the oncoming SUV driven by 42-year-old James Stumpo of McKean. The other driver was not hurt.
