PITTSBURGH Having a bad hair day? Come to Pittsburgh and, maybe, people won't notice.

According to the fashion Web site, TotalBeauty.com, Pittsburgh is the third worst city in the country for "bad hair."

The Web site rated bad hair cities by comparing annual averages for various criteria that can affect people's hair, including humidity, sunshine, rain water hardness, pollution levels and the number of beauty salons compared to the city's population.

Corpus Christi, Texas, was the worst on the list, followed by Olympia, Wash. Las Vegas and Phoenix ranked fourth and fifth.
