LANCASTER — A company that provides school bus service in south-central Pennsylvania said it has procedures in place to make sure children aren't left on school buses — but one driver in Lancaster didn't follow the rules.

Shultz Transportation said that driver is no longer working for the company. She forgot to check the back of the bus, leaving a 3-year-old developmentally disabled boy unattended last month.
