NEW CASTLE — Police and fire officials in New Castle are investigating two more suspected arsons in vacant buildings.

The fires on Sunday morning heavily damaged two buildings. Fire Chief Thomas Maciarello says investigators have no suspects in more than 45 arsons that have damaged vacant building in the last 18 months.

So far, nobody has been hurt in any of the fires, and none of the fires have involved occupied buildings. But the chief says he's concerned that might change if whoever is setting the fires isn't caught.

The city has set up an anonymous tip line and is offering a $1,000 reward for information.
