WILLIAMSPORT — Students at Pennsylvania College of Technology in Williamsport are going to have to pay more for their education.

The board of directors on Thursday unanimously approved a $92 million operating budget and nearly five percent increase in tuition for in-state students for the 2009-10 school year.

That means a full-time, in-state student taking an average of 15 credits per semester at Penn College will pay about $12,480 in tuition and fees. Out-of-state students will see an increase to more than $15,000.
