PITTSBURGH — No rulings have been made at a hearing on whether to suppress information given to police by an 11-year-old boy accused of killing his father's pregnant fiancee.

Attorneys for Jordan Brown say police didn't identify themselves or ask for parental permission to question him. Prosecutors say Brown was a potential witness and not a suspect then. The defense wants the case dismissed.

Brown's father, Christopher, testified at Thursday's hearing.

Brown is charged as an adult in the killings of 26-year-old Kenzie Marie Houk and her unborn son. Brown has pleaded not guilty. Brown's attorneys want the case moved to juvenile court. Police say Brown shot Houk on Feb. 20 in their farmhouse in Wampum.
