Drug Legalization
I understand that with the drop in prices that potentially the need to steal will lessen. However, those that have addictions typically can't and/or don't work because they are unable to. Either they fail drug tests or are too caught up in drugs to hold a job. Again, you end up with a population that has a need without the money to get it. I understand that alcohol plays a major factor in deaths, accidents, and other terrible misfortunes. If you see this, then why would you want to add another variable out there? I truly didn't think children would be able to buy it. When I said children, I meant anyone's child, whether they are 20 or 30 or 40. As for those that would not be of age to buy it, someone will buy it for them. Just like cigarettes and just like alcohol. If they want it they will get it. By taking the burden off of the police, we will then give it to CYS, which isn't the most consistent organization. But that is another topic for another time. I have simpler dreams and wishes for our country and have a hard time understanding or relating to wishes such as legalizing drugs. But thank you for your time and answers.
