Legal drugs
Let me see now, the good doctor says drugs should be legal but with age requirements to purchase. That requirement is working right now with tobacco and alcohol, is it? He also says that driving under the influence of alcohol should result in strict prosecution. I wonder to what extent he suggests that be done. Jail time? If drugs were legal I suppose those now in prison would really have been innocent for useing/selling. So let's release them and fill the jails with drunk drivers. I too have had (negative) experience with drugs. My son used to have a wonderful job, bought new cars, traveled, had nice clothes, etc.
Then he got into cocaine. Lost everything. He's been clean for awhile and is working again as a janitor. Lives in subsidized housing, drives an old clunker, has no credit. I paid off his cocaine supplier to keep him from physical harm. My wife and I had a discussion over the weekend with an old subject, that being that some highly educated people have no common sense. Anyone you know?
