Butler police are investigating what they think were two unrelated fatal drug overdoses since Sunday.

Investigators are awaiting final autopsy reports in the deaths of Tina Hetrick, 40, and Chad Spahn, 28, police Deputy Chief David Adam said today.

Hetrick had apparently been dead for some time about 3:20 p.m. Sunday when her 21-year-old son found her body on the living room floor at her home on the 500 block of West New Castle Street.

Spahn was found about 8:15 a.m. Monday by his grandmother at their home on St. Paul Street, police said. She reported finding him unresponsive.
