I've known Lin Marie for six years. Lin Marie is one of the most compassionate, intelligent, loving, caring Christian people I have ever met. She doesn't have a mean bone in her body. As soon as you meet her, you love her! She's truly an angel here on earth. I used to live in the country where "cowards" would drop off their unwanted pets...and by the way for those of you that think your unwanted pet is going to live a wonderful life roaming FREE in the woods, you are dead wrong. Here's the reality, they end up starving, get infested with ticks, get attacked by other "unwanted pets", get rabies, get shot/wounded by hunters and suffer, get smashed or wounded by cars, or turn into feral cats that have more feral cats, and the problem continues. This is what I have seen and dealt with for 17 years because most of these animals ended up on my front porch starving to death. I have spent lots of money trying to help these unwanted pets. The shelters/vets/humane control officers turned me away and I was left to deal with someone elses problem on my own. I had no options. That is until I found "tiger ranch".

What a beautiful, calm, peaceful place!! As soon as you step out of your car, Lin Marie, along with some of her cats, and dogs are there to greet you. She makes you feel like you've known her for years. She really is an angel here on earth. Lin Marie has nothing to hide. She is open and honest about everything that goes on at tiger ranch. At tiger ranch, there are cats roaming around freely all over the property. They even have their own house, where they can come inside and out as they please. These cats all have their own little collar, bells and name tags around their necks. These are the cats that Lin saved from being abused and neglected. Lin promised to keep them and let them live a stress free life on her ranch for the rest of their lives. Lin knows each ones name and can tell you the cruel story behind each cat. If you could hear some of the horror stories, you would cry. Lin was their only hope. Lin also has horses that she saved from being sent to the slaughter house. She bought them at an auction and saved them from being put to death. There was nothing wrong with them. They have a nice big barn and pasture fields with lots of hay. It's a beautiful place for them. Tiger Ranch is something everyone needs to see! You are in awe as soon as you step out of your car! Lin knows more about cats than most veterinarians too. She can help you with any problem you are having with your cat. She can look at a cat that is sick or having a behavior problem and tell you what to do. She's given me advice many times with my own cats, and it always worked. Tiger Ranch is also an adoption/low cost spay/neuter center too. Lin adopts out approximately 1000 cats per year..which is amazing!! You can also go through Lin to have your cat spayed/neutered for $40...Lin takes the cats to a vet to have this done. Lin also deals with several local vets to take care of her cats. The cats are all well cared for. Lin uses her own money to run Tiger Ranch and she also has a friend that donates his income to help. She also has several people that volunteer their time to help. My sister and nieces spent several Saturdays volunteering there. They absolutely loved being there helping to take care of the cats and being part of such an incredible operation! It wasn't an easy job though. Lin is very picky when it comes to taking care of the animals. For example, the litter boxes have to be scrubbed and disinfected the right way, and the blankets have to be folded a certain way...and if you don't do things that way Lin wants them done, she makes you re-do it all. Lin is not the monster that everyone is making her out to be, she knows her stuff and she would help anyone in need. She helped me when I was desperate with two "unwanted cats" that I couldn't find homes for and noone else would help me. She was there for me when I needed her and I'll be there for her now. I plan on giving money towards her defense and helping her any other way that I can. For those of you that think they sent their cat to Tiger Ranch to die, you are misinformed. You sent your cat there to LIVE...and have the best life it could ever have. Chances are your cat got adopted into a good home too..And for those of you that are trying to take Tiger Ranch away, you know in your hearts you are wrong ...Lin is one of the best friends anyone could ever hope to have and she's there when people need her.
