I have read through everyones feedback, and just wanted to say most of you know where I'm coming from.I am not trying to put the whole blame on the teacher,because my son is 12 years old and should know he is responsible to complete his work.However,I do feel if a students grades all of the sudden drop or work is not being turned in I should have the right to be notified.I want my son to succeed;not fail.I have three other children to tend to besides my son, and one other is in school too(she is doing quite well).I am a full-time college student, and work my butt off to see my childrens work is done on top of my work.It upsets me that my sons teacher did not care enough to see that my son did well.Is that not a teachers job?To see that the children succeed in school?Maybe I'm wrong,maybe not.I do know that next year I will be home schooling my son,upon doing my work too.It will be hard for me,but at least I know he is learning and will be turning in his work.By the way,what happened to the "No child left behind"?
