I now understand why it is that our teachers are so frustrated with adults & parents. How can you place a price value on your childrens education? As far as I'm concerned, my childs education is priceless. These teachers have a tough job, sometimes their job is even more difficult because of parents who don't care to get involved and support the efforts of the education system. If more parents cared about their childrens education maybe they would make more of an effort to attend school events, get involved in PTA, etc. It's not so easy being a teacher now days when they are doing more than teaching. A lot of times they end up doing what the parents should be doing all along, supporting the kids and trying their best to make sure no child gets left behind.
