Go Tilly! I am maybe one of the few that don't care what the teachers make at our school. They (and as in they I mean every single teacher at Dassa McKinney) are excellent teachers. My kids highly respect them, as do I. All those teachers go the extra mile to help our children out, and if they think there is a problem I am the first to hear about it. I have not one complaint about any of the teachers there. I find them to be hard working, and to care for our kids. If I have a problem then they help with the solution. For example my son was having problems in math. They were taking multiplication tests and were timed tests. For the life of him he just couldn't do it. His teacher called me to express her concerns. For I haven't seen his test grades yet. I worked with him extra at home, and she took her free periods (during their recess) to work with him at school. Within a few weeks his grade went from an E to a C. She didn't have to care about his grades, but the point is she did. So in my eyes (though I may be ridiculed for it) I don't care what the teachers make.

Nobody sits there for months at a time on here and complains about what waitress make, or doctors make, or cops make (who put their lives on the line everyday for our community). So why don't we finally realize that it's not our business on what teachers are making. What is our business is how our kids are doing in school, and what we can do at home as parents to help them improve! Maybe it's time to worry about our own financial means instead of every teachers in Butler County!
