Big Ed if 80 % are offended there is a reason for that. Stats are from reading websites that have posted such numbers. If you are asking for exact insight to those pages I can not give, sorry.

As for my profession I dont understand why that would matter.

But if it is important to you here it is. Information Systems Engineer. Yes I have had to train and teach persons, I taught from the things I have learned by books or exp. Could someone with less exp do the same.

Big Ed when I said Teachers teach from manuals it is a general statement, is there teachers that dont sure. How many? Very little I would say.

This topic bores me anymore the truth is teachers "most" are over paid. Just the same as any other job. The difference from most jobs is mine and everyone else's taxes pay salarys for teachers and government workers.

You know when elections come most vote for particular party because they dont cut back on taxes vs cutting back on taxes.

What happens when they cut back government employees lose jobs same as military.

It is a shame we cant choose based on stats to fire teachers.

Now I am just throwing things off the top of my head.

I think most of the problems are self denial. Most teachers average 25-30 and hour plus benefits. I am sorry that is pretty good. I think that is above the average worker. And for people to complain they are not paid enough and get as much time off/vacation stress relief, is just plain insensitive to others. You spoke of the 80% I upset with being below average workers.

How bout all the people who work longer and harder then teachers and make alot less.

I think you and those teachers would upset more than 80%.

I think if you are comparing who is more insulting it would be your fabrications and thoughts of how good these teachers are that receive bloated salary's.
