Great letter and I have to applaud you for writing it. I am in your age group and recall my grandfather, when he was alive telling me stories about the "depression". My mom was just a small child. She told me the family was eating boiled water with ketchup and an onion, if you had one for the seasoning. This is what my family lived on "once upon a time". When the democratic party took over, my grandfather found work and flourished. The steel mills were booming. I have been seeing people in our area, not being able to find substantial work and going to food banks. I commend you again Gloria, for a letter well written. Generations younger, need to be made aware of our countries past and how America became such a great country. Our Constitution of the United States of America needs to be honored and respected and we all need to remember how it happened. Democratic ticket has my vote! Let's not head back to "The Great Depression".
