Where exactly are some peoples priorities this time of year.I happen to know for a fact that my good neighbor is in debt completely over his head, his children think a gourmet meal is a hot dog and a popsicle which explains why they are undersized for their age and for most of last year the family was on food stamp assistance. Yet when I look out side at the front of their home they have a Christmas display going on 24 hours a day 7 days a week that would make Clark W.Griswold jealous!! It involves several expensive inflatables complete home lighting all the way around with a just installed Santa and Sleigh. The entire front yard apprx. 40 feet across is a gaudy eyesore.I can't help but think what the poor children are going to eat this winter when the electric bill comes in. I have always been there to help my neighbor with food money etc, but when I see things like this I just shake my head. None of my business;?perhaps, but when I see the neglect everywhere else I can't help but think that if they did things in a responsible manner that they would have enough money to buy groceries to feed their family without government assistance. I guess they would rather put on heirs than be responsible. It is pretty funny actually to watch people step in it over and over again and then cry for help. It seems to be a sign of the times, I mean isn't this basically why the economy is in this mess right now;people living beyond their means then crying for help but, not doing anything constructive to help themselves?
