I find the continued subjects of sex education and drugs a joke. If you can only realize how inane it sounds to those who disagree with this kind of thought you would stop writing about it. If one can show me where legalizing drugs is a positive step toward a better country and society bring it on. Go to other countries with legalized drugs and show me where the country is better off.

We are talking about drugs here, right? Mind altering drugs which have killed countless people (young and old) and have caused deep grief to so many families and friends from their loved ones' unnecessary death or worse, still living with the affects from drug use? Is this a doctor I am writing to? Have you ever seen someone on drugs? Yes? Simple reasoning will tell you that perhaps this kind of behavior is not for the strive for excellence in anyone. Oh let's just legalize drugs to stop putting people away and let's teach our kids to be careful not to overdose. Perhaps legalizing drugs will have the federal gov. putting directions on labels sounding like this: FOLLOW DIRECTIONS CAREFULLY and SEE YOUR DOCTOR FOR SPECIFIC DRUG AMOUNT. I can imagine the fun the govt. will have putting their regulations on more drugs.

Can one see Butler becoming better with legalizing drugs?

Alcohol was legalized but it still didn't change the nature of the problem. People still die from drinking too much. I know this first hand with losing two men in my own family.

Our country's problems don't stem from sex and drugs. We need to dig deeper than this for answers. With some brains working to find out real answers maybe things will be better instead of indirectly calling names to people who see things differently. Calling people who believe differently than you primitive, Neanderthals, and the uninformed(which is truly a naive response) religious right certainly isn't the answer.
