It has always amazed me when people write as if nobody but themselves has any first-hand experience with drug and alcohol related tragedies.

For your future information, My daughter was dropped off in the middle of the night at Butler Hospital...they just rolled her out of the car and hoped for the best. She was pronounced dead twice, but was eventually saved. Someone spiked her drink with a fentenal patch, but the people at the hospital treated her like an addict.

I have personally lost several young friends from heroine overdoses. Legalization would regulate dosages. People don't know it, but when an overdose happens, people don't avoid that particulay brand of heroine, they LOOK for it. They figure they can handle it, while the dead person just couldn't.

I've lost 2 family members to drunk driving. Also, my 22 year old son cannot drive until he's in his 30s because of several underage drinking offences. I can't for the life of me figure out why a murderer is given special consideration for being a minor child, but a drinker can't.
