Laurie from Butler offers several objections to legalizing drug use, all premised on the belief that a person's body is not their own and that the government or society has a right to dictate what is and is not appropriate for a person to do themselves. This idea underlies all forms of dictatorships and socialist states and is fundamentally at odds with the ideas of the Framers.
