I agree with you. But since the public has access to records, I guess anything goes. I feel the law should be changed on this. No one has any privacy anymore. Health information is not as private as it is supposed to be. If a person is convicted of a crime against a child, it should be public knowledge as well as any seriously violant crime. But for the public to go to the courthouse and read about all other fines and personal problems should be against the law. To make public that someone had some drinks and ran through a stop sign or a red light or a tail light was out and got caught: then make a huge deal out of it is nothing but an all out money maker. There is a local T.V. news team that frequents Butler City quite often, in search of gossip or a more polite term, news. Any one that has made a mistake, should have the right to privacy and should have the right NOT to be harassed over the mistake. How awful for anyone that has to sustain continual stone throwing and be subjected to public ridicule. Court dates, charges and complete personal content are listed everyday in the newspapers. Write to our legislators and get it changed.

I stand by what I wrote. No one has the right to brow another human being. There is no law that says the taxpayers have the right to constantly condemn another human being for mistakes.I beleive its called harassement!!!! Move on and let the people do their job.
