UNIONTOWN — A Pennsylvania man is jailed on charges he made four prank calls to county 911 dispatchers since November, including one that prompted police to break down the door of a neighbor’s house.

Richard Crossland, 49, of Uniontown, remained jailed Thursday unable to post bond on charges including false alarms and reckless endangerment.

The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reports police surrounded a house shortly after midnight Jan. 1 after a false report of a gunman holding hostages.
