Cass, thanks for making yourself such a perfect example of what the Media does with wording, facts and figures. Anyone can alter wording, and pull statists and percentages out to try to make their guy look better.

I note that you left out some details. What is your source? (The Internet is too vague). Who are considered the wealthiest? Has the definition changed over the years? What is amount of the top portion of their income? Has that amount changed over the years? For each President you listed (and I note, you didn't take the time to compare figures from the terms of other Democrat Presidents), what party was in control of Congress? Congress has the ability to vote a budget up or down, so it's important to factor that in.

So back to your quote of Obama's proposed 39.6% tax on the wealthiest. Do you think that's fair? Would you like your income taxed at that rate? I thought we were to all be treated equally in this country.
