BUFFALO TWP — A medical helicopter was called to a one-vehicle crash this morning that left one person injured.

The crash happened about 7:15 a.m. in the 700 block of Ekastown Road. The initial call reported that one person was trapped in the vehicle. Authorities, however, could not immediately confirm that report.

Traffic was reduced to one lane following the crash. Buffalo Township police are investigating but an accident report was not available.

Volunteer firefighters from Sarver and Buffalo Township in Butler County and Harrison Township in Allegheny County assisted police with traffic control and helped set up a landing zone for the helicopter.
