Meridian didn't pitch to Ryan Fennell.

It didn't matter.

Fennell, who is hitting .800 this season for the East Butler American Legion team, was walked intentionally five times in an 11-2 East Butler win over Meridian Saturday afternoon.

Dalton Steighner and Josh Reddick each had three singles for East Butler (7-3).

Cody Herald got the win, fanning five in four innings.

• Zach Sessa struck out nine and Zach Rader tripled and also had two singles as Center Township (8-1) downed Mars 9-4.
