Slippery Rock's Dave Murdick won his third Modified feature of the season at Lernerville Speedway Friday night.

Murdick, who entered the race in fifth place in the Modified points standings with 216, finished in front of points leader Kevin Bolland.

The effort is also the eighth time this season that Murdick has placed in the top five.

The Sportsman Stock and Late Model features were both won by the leader in the points standings — Joe Kelley and Dave Hess Jr., respectively.

Kelley, of Mount Pleasant, won for the seventh time this season and third time in the past four weeks.

For Hess, a resident of Waterford, it was his third victory at Lernerville this season. He also won here April 2 and June 18.
