$100,000 lottery ticket sold in Butler County

BRADY TWP — One winning Powerball with Power Play ticket worth $100,000 from the Saturday, drawing was sold at Country Corner Store, 2678 William Flinn Highway, Brady Township.

The ticket matched four of the five white balls drawn, 09-28-30-40-61, and the red Powerball 03, to win $100,000, less applicable tax withholding. It was sold with the $1 Power Play option, which boosted the prize to $100,000 instead of $50,000 because Saturday’s multiplier was two.

The retailer will receive a $500 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

Pennsylvania Lottery Powerball winners have one year from the drawing date to claim prizes. Prizes must be claimed and winning tickets validated before winners can be identified.

The Lottery encourages the holder of the winning ticket to sign the back of the ticket, call the Lottery at 717-702-8146 and file a claim at Lottery headquarters in Middletown, Dauphin County, or at any of Lottery’s seven area offices.

More than 37,300 other Powerball tickets won prizes of various amounts in the drawing.

The Powerball jackpot rolled to an estimated annuity value of $148 million, or $97.6 million cash, for the Wednesday drawing.
