Police and fire crews are searching Evans City Elementary and Middle Schools after a written bomb threat was discovered in a bathroom stall this afternoon.

Students were evacuated around 2:40 p.m. and transported away by bus.

Linda Andreassi, communication director for Seneca Valley School District said police believe the threat to be non-credible.

Students are excused from doing school assignments.

Andreassi said she expects school to be in session tomorrow.

She also said police will look at surveillance footage to see who wrote the bomb threat.
