Crash on Route 8 injures 2; snarls morning traffic
BUTLER TWP — Two people reportedly were injured just before 7 a.m. today when a truck and a van collided at the intersection of Route 8 and Litman Road.
One person reportedly was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital and the other injured person reportedly was taken to Butler Airport and then flown by medical helicopter to a Pittsburgh hospital.
Traffic was routed through the parking lot at Greater Butler Mart.
Emergency crews cleared the scene at 8:35 a.m.
